We have received sightings up into Virginia this week.

The Hummers are definitely on the move.

April is the busiest month for the hummingbird migration!

Most areas in the U.S. have their friends back by the end of the month. We, up north, usually have to wait until May to see our feathered friends!

So far, it seems to be the usual start time for our beloved hummingbirds.

You will find a map and table of the estimated dates when the Ruby-throats will arrive in the East.

There are also regional maps of other species such as the Rufous, Allen's, Anna's, Calliope, Costa's, Black-chinned and Broad-tailed.

Another way to estimate their arrival date this year is to visit the
2020 Hummingbird Migration Map and click on a marker in you area to see when they arrived last year!
