This list contains the species of hummingbirds Canada. That is, hummingbird species sighted in both northern and southern Canada.
For convenience, they are listed in alphabetical order, not by frequency of sightings.
The Rufous hummingbird is the most northerly ranging of all hummingbirds.
It nests across most of British Columbia and into southern Yukon.
Some sightings can be very rare.
It is exciting to see hummingbirds that are unusual for your location.
