Issue #007, May 11, 2012. In this Issue: 1) Updated Hummingbird Migration Sightings & Map 2012. The Long Awaited Hummingbird Migration 2012!The Hummers Have Almost Reached Their Destinations! The Hummingbirds have almost finished their migration. Here in the North we hung our first hummingbird feeders on May 3rd. Our first male Ruby-throat arrived on May 8th and we're still waiting for the females to arrive. They usually show up a week or two later. You can follow the migration sightings and post yours when the time comes. If you are still waiting for your hummers, you can get an estimation of this years arrival in your area by going to our Migration Sighting/Map of 2011 to see when they arrived last year.
